A very enjoyable programme with Richard E Grant, discussing books inspired by places in Southern Italy. He read passages from the books and they really came to life when in the actual location. Looking forward to the next 2 episodes, set in France and Spain.

I am so enjoying watching these programmes on iplayer. I've put the books referenced on my Wish List with Amazon. I read Carol Drinkwater's Olive Farm novel (one of them, anyway) back in the day. I'll certainly read it again plus others in that series.

Carol Drinkwater has a programme on ( I think) Ch 5 9 o’clock Sunday nights. First one tonight (unless I’ve missed some).
