I fancy getting into a trilogy to read. As I’m confined to barracks with dh for a while
Any recommendations please?

I like anything really, ie historic, fantasy, psychological , thrillers etc.
nothing too heavy or demanding though 🤯.

As said upthread, the Shardlake novels are very good, as are S.W. Perry’s Jackdaw Mysteries, also set in Tudor time. Very readable - you get really involved with the characters.

The Cazalets by Elizabeth Jane Howard. Easy to read and lovely books. There’s more than three but once you start you won’t be able to stop!

I use Kindle unlimited through Amazon and if you want a lighter option try Sally Rigby books. She writes stand alone psychological thrillers and also a series of Cornish murder mysteries.
Rachel McLean’s Dorset crime series is good too.
Kindle unlimited throws up options to you and if you have a lot going on a book is a lovely escape. Happy reading
