Yesterday DGS fell in a pond (and guess who was looking after him)

I fished him out really quickly, and he was very pleased with himself aferwards. smile Took great delight in showing his soaking wet self to his mum and bro. He was sailing his remote control boat we gave him for Xmas. DH had told him not to stand on that bit, but I thought it was fine. And he did say he always stands there. hmm DH had to go in and retrieve the controller.

I didn't know I could move that fast! It was a fantastic rescue! sunshine

Hope she's better soon, jeni. It's horrid for them to be ill when they can't understand what's going on.

jeni what a little charmer. I can see the family resemblance. Hope she improves very soon.

jingle just found this thread, you are a hero, have you recovered yet from the shock..

jeni your GD is a little picture, chicken pox is terrible but the younger they are the less scratching they can do GS1 was 3months when his spots appeared, and luckily the only way he could scratch was by rubbing his head on his cot sheet and the scar is hidden buy his hair.

jingle I dont think for one min you were to blame, these things happen in a split second and luckily you were there. flowers

DD had taken GS1 down to Cornwall for a holiday and thought the travelling had been too much and low and behold next morning the poor little sole was covered, but his Mum has no immunity against chicken pox so even though he was breast feed he was not spared the dreaded spots.

Night jeni, safe journey.
