jeni and I are flying to Lesbos and the weather will be warm and sunny.
We are going to a little place I know overlooking a bay. The gorgeous Greek waiter will place our table outside where we will have the best view of the little ships skimming across the waves. The sea will be very blue.
I am starting with a Buck's Fizz and jeni is having a diluted Pernod.
Suggestions please for starters, main course, dessert and drinks.
No chocolate for me!

Thanks Greatnan. I covered myself in factor 50 after my shower today - long-lasting stuff. And don't dare eat my chicken - she's called Molly after my mother. Anyone seen glamma? Here, Greatnan have some prosecco fortified with jeni's 'gravy'. Absolutely fabulous.

Thanks, Annobel. Is anyone else getting hot out here on the terrace. Do you mind if I take off my cardigan?

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 14:43:07

Take off anything you like Greatnan. We're all broad-minded here.....

jeni Sun 08-Apr-12 14:44:39

I hope you've something on under?

Greatnan Sun 08-Apr-12 14:50:35

Just my very flimsy crop top. We need to get the very best service from Dimitri. (Although I think he might be gay!)
Isn't the sea a lovely colour? Not 'wine dark' though - I always thought that was a daft way to describe it. How about azure?

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 14:56:38

Homer called it wine dark cos there aren't words for colours in ancient Greek! Watch it, Greatnan, that crop top is showing your tattoo.

Greatnan Sun 08-Apr-12 15:01:50

That's not a tattoo - it's just shrivelled flesh because I have lost so much weight!

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 15:02:29

Oo-er!

jeni Sun 08-Apr-12 15:02:54

Hmm looks like a tattoo to me!

jeni Sun 08-Apr-12 15:07:36

Oh I love the sun!

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 15:14:25

I don't want to go home to the wind and rain!

jeni Sun 08-Apr-12 15:23:38

Nor me,are you sure Dmitri is gay? Perhaps I could stay and cook his dolma des?

Greatnan Sun 08-Apr-12 15:23:54

You should live in the Alps - I am told it is snowing again!

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 15:50:27

I have to leave room for my very favourite Greek dessert. Baklava! Yummy!

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 15:59:21

Oooh yes (pats tummy). That was the perfect end to a perfect lunch. Any gravy left?

bagitha Sun 08-Apr-12 16:03:13

Baklava's good with snobby coffee too.

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 16:07:49

Well, I'm coffee-intolerant so I will settle for a glass of brandy.

jeni Sun 08-Apr-12 16:11:54

annobel I thought you didn't like gravy in prosecco? grin

Anagram Sun 08-Apr-12 16:13:57

Yes, Balaclava and Brandy for me, too, now I've finally made it here....
I love those foreign puds!

Annobel Sun 08-Apr-12 16:19:17

I could have your kind of gravy with anything, jeni. grin

jeni Sun 08-Apr-12 16:21:52

It's an old family recipe. Works as an excellent antidepressant, better than Prozac any day. Unfortunately non prescibable!sad
