Clothes with logos

Am I alone in hating clothes with logos or pictures printed on them? Trying to find a nice plain T-shirt for children is almost impossible - they all have TV characters etc on them.
And lots of adult clothes do too.
I avoid them like the plague.

You definately are not alone in this.

I tried to buy a dressing gown for my 5 year old Granddaughter and had real difficulty finding any not plastered with pop stars or logos that were inappropriate for her.

Children are being robbed of their innocence.

Children are not robbed of their innocence! Not by a bright splash of colour or a cheery slogan on a t-shirt! hmm

They might be robbed of innocence in other ways, but not by their t-shirts. Unless totally inappropriate ones are chosen, of course.

But please no slogans or pictures on adult ones!

My GD (9) is very attached to one like that, jingle. She'd wear it all day if she could.

No objection to hearts for little girls, Jings,- yes very pretty - but why should children carry round unpaid advertising for global international companies as though they are sandwich men on the high street?

And those cheeky knowing slogans whose double meaning the children are not aware of .... I'd say they expose the non-innocence of whoever thought them suitable.

For me - no denim, no slogans, no logos. If I have a message I'll e-mail it...
