Hi soop, I've been thinking about you today. Families are wonderful and painful things aren't they? We are grans and can, and do, cope with the help of lots of love and support, which you have here! Be strong (as you will!) things will get better.

In spite of the vultures whose job it is to seek out the weaknesses of individuals in order sell news, we've had a huge amount of support from other family members, friends, and the community in which we live. The sadness is our business, and we'll deal with it. What is important for us, is to keep our ties with our darling grandson and his parents, as strong as they ever were.

to every one of you that has offered me comfort. You are treasures. xxx

We had a lovely evening with the communities of two villages last night. Huge party packed the wee village hall. Beacon lit on the summit of the big hill. Champagne, good company and much laughter. A very fine cocktail!!!

Again, I'm back to say thank you. The support that is coming my way is extraordinary. Today could be one of the most difficult for my son. I'm constantly with him in spirit. The same is true of my feelings for my DiL and adorable grandson. Off to busy myself with some overdue household chores. Nothing like a thorough clean-up to keep the spirit strong.

you lot are perfectly wonderful. Thanks to you and many true friends, local and afar, I'm feeling stronger by the day [post-op and post-shock.] The media interference was vile - an attempt at character assasination at a time when those whose business it is [family] need a bit of space in which to deal with a very sad situation. Our love for my delightful DiL is unchanged. Love for our darling grandson grows with every passing day. My love for my son is unconditional. xxx

You have a huge heart, soop, and everyone around you must feel the glow. You're absolutely right to steadfastly ignore anyone and anything outside the family right now - just you and Mr soop look after each other!

Have uploaded a pic of the marvellous cake made by our pal. It was wonderful to behold and delicious to eat. It was huge...fed at least 120 folk [smallish slices] at the village celebrations.
