Do dragons have religion?
How many types of dragon have we?
How many people have had a a meaningful discussion with a dragon?

Are dragons neccessary?

nanaej Wed 25-Jul-12 22:23:39

Dragons are most certainly necessary. Think of all those stories and paintings that would not exist! Who would St George fight? and what about Puff? or the Soup Dragon?

I have to say I have not thought about the spiritual side of a dragon..but I am thinking they may be sun worshipers..as the big fire in the sky.

Moon dragon - they're beautiful. smile

Dragons are certainly necessary! Who would ever have heard of St George otherwise? grin

Notsogrand Wed 25-Jul-12 22:48:58

I agree that dragons are essential, for the reasons already stated. Not sure about their spirituality though....

I tried to have a meaningful conversation with a dragon once, but a unicorn kept interupting.

No longer allowed to go into pubs, restaurants and other public places since the smoking ban, alas.

Yes we Welsh people have THE best flag don't we. Pity it won't appear in the olympics - except waved by any lucky welsh people who see Dai Green running in the stadium (Go Dai, one of our medal hopes on the track, bless his little sticky out ears.)
Of course all us Welsh women have an inner dragon, hidden beneath our gorgeous exteriors and warm hearts.

Butternut Agree about moon dragons. Of course they exist, along with unicorns.

nanaej Never thought about them having a religion but I think you are right about being sun worshipers. grin

When you say "How many types of dragon have we?" do you mean, in the world? In the country...............

Or on Gransnet?

I can become a dragon but do not let this show too often in case my cover is blown.... when I am a human I am a Humanist, when I am a dragon I am Dr

Of course Dragons exist! What about Puff the Magic Dragon?
My MIL is a Welsh Dragon I just wish she would return to her lair in the Preseli Hills.

My DH was born in 1952 which was the Chinese Year of the Dragon.

granjura Thu 26-Jul-12 12:38:50

Well St George is the Patron Saint of England and slayed a beautiful dragon. A here indeed.

As a Syrian, he would not be allowed in the country now.
Now there is food for thoughtsmile
