Thought I'd be organised this year and check how many C*******s cards and rolls of wrapping paper I have BEFORE I order anymore but I can't find them anywhere. Has anyone seen them? confused

Alie I can beat you on that sweetie, when Albert Dock opened to public after the regeneration years ago and all small fancy shop's took over the ground floor area a super little shop selling very lovely decorations opened,I could not help myself and bought a big bag of them all with different initials on for DGCs and DCs who lived at home at the time, well says I,I will keep them somewhere safe so they won't get damaged I even unwrapped them and rewrapped them in tissue paper and tied the bag with a big red bow so I would know what they where, and do you know what ? never to be seen again the case of the disappearing christmas bag had us wondering for years and I always wonder if the bag fell below the gap under the stairs and is still laying there waiting to be opened and put on someone's special tree,as we sold that house in 2001 before our move abroad. To make matters worse the stupid shop closed down the next year so I could not replace anything.

The one advantage of living in a small flat is that things can't get too lost!
Now retired, with time to investigate cupboards, etc. all is revealed. Mind you, it's often a great surprise - when did I buy that and then duplicate it?!
So even with a tiny place it's still possible, sadly. Organisation a ' work in progress '. Smile

Something found - my sister found a pair of pretty little amethyst and turquoise earrings in a jeweller's box in her airing cupboard. She had no recollection of buying them or being given them. Her husband said he'd never bought them either. The mystery endures, but I was presented with the earrings!
