Just because you want to catch up with what has gone before, doesn't mean you have to make a comment on the thread – unless it's interesting and worthwhile. "Don't worry, it's just me" simply clutters up stuff.

Like I attribute the "go for the ball not the player" principle to my sister. Not sure where she got if from, but it is a good maxim for debating on forums or off.

By taking away the personalisation of the threads initial title those who did not see it will not be able to understand why some posted.

Please remove my initial post as it bears no relevance to the thread which has now developed. Keep this one though.

Having just joined this 'Borum', a joke in itself which I am sure deserves to be followed up, and having already stuck my oar in on three threads, I must say that this one is by far the most boring I have yet read. Now, can anyone beat it?
