I went to the local Am-drams' production of Singing in the Rain last night, with my pal Lurkio (*Marsco*)! Her workmate directs and acts in the shows and what a performance! Thank you, Lurkio! smile xx

MarelliI would live to have seen your am-dram musical. I watched the 'Singin' in the Rain' film on TV last weekend, even though I also have it on DVD. It's my all-time favourite film. smile

Someone give me a kick I am sat here in my Pjs and drinking tea, shock the normal morning routine is out of the window.. DD and SIl are off for the weekend for her birthday so they dropped the little ones at school so I made the big mistake of not getting dressed before I came downstairs the kitchen is like a bomb site, I have to go out this afternoon got things to sort but if I dont move my big bottom I wont get done before the school pick up.

D'you know glass I'm just the same. I've had an u typically lazy morning, breakfast in bed, reading and GNetting. Very chilled but must go and jump in the shower now. You've motivated (shamed?) me into moving. Have meeting with solicitors later to make Will and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

Nanadog Thu 22-Nov-12 10:47:48

'Untypically'

glassortwo Thu 22-Nov-12 10:48:58

Right you have pushed me nana I am off grin

Greatnan Thu 22-Nov-12 11:19:53

Did Maniac travel to Manchester especially for the meeting? Glad she got home eventually.
Mishap - onwards and upwards. The skin on my legs is permanently scaly, good job I don't care.
There was thick fog this morning and I thought I would miss my walk, but it has cleared and we have some watery sun, so I will catch up on all of you when I get back in an hour or two.

Had a phone call from the surgery yesterday afternoon. A prescription is waiting for me at the shop in the village. A months supply of Macrodantin. Mr soop got up early and took my wee sample to the surgery. It's going to the lab to see what will grow in it! Beats tending an allotment. wink

Marelli Thu 22-Nov-12 13:16:07

grin soop! Hope your new medication will sort out your UTI.

soop Thu 22-Nov-12 13:18:19

Marelli Thanks. What does UTI stand for?

soop Thu 22-Nov-12 13:25:24

No need to tell me, Marelli I've worked it out. Silly me emoticon. wink

celebgran Thu 22-Nov-12 14:02:18

kittylester Thu 22-Nov-12 14:11:38

Update on my daughter's stolen car - it has been found in a field having been used in an armed hold up at a local garage! We live in adjacent villages in a ruralish bit of leicestershire shock

Marelli Thu 22-Nov-12 14:25:36

Crikey, kitty! Is the car badly damaged? shock

kittylester Thu 22-Nov-12 15:39:33

The car has smashed lights and some other damage and is currently being assessed. She is more bothered about the stuff that was left in the car - if only she could remember what she had left there!

She will remember - in time, kitty. She's bound to be worked-up, bless her! At least the car's been found. Bad enough that it's been involved in a robbery, but as long as no-one's been hurt. flowers

kittylester Thu 22-Nov-12 16:25:27

Thank you for your concern Marelli . She is fine but not particularly happy to be carless being pregnant, with a nine month old in the run up to Christmas. Guess who is going to be doing some taxiing? All quite exciting though!

Marelli Thu 22-Nov-12 17:15:13

So it is, kitty! smile And there's always a way!!

artygran Thu 22-Nov-12 18:25:06

Saw the new James Bond film. Don't often go to the cinema - it takes an hour to get there, so it's a pain. But this was worth it - it was completely awesome. The best Bond film to date. Nice to see Ben Wishaw getting so many good parts - Richard II recently, The Hour, and now Bond's new Q. Excellent.

crimson Thu 22-Nov-12 18:33:42

Is Ben Wishaw in it?! I've never seen The Hour but noticed him in a trailer for it last week [still forgot to watch it this week]. I've loved him ever since seeing the second half of Perfume [never got to see the first half] and the film about Keats. At the moment am listening to the rain falling having driven past the river earlier in the day and seeing how close it was to bursting it's banks sad....
