it's quite easy to go out and buy Xmas presents, but when it comes to wrapping them up, Gransnet beckons. hmm

I put today aside to get it done and I've done three.

I really want to get everything done early and be really organised.

I remember when only children were given Christmas presents - why did we start giving them to adults? My family is far too large for me to go on buying gifts for the grown ups so once they leave school they just get cards. I have a good excuse for not buying the gifts for my great-grand-children myself - I live abroad, so I just transfer money to their mums' accounts and leave them to choose what they know the children will like. They send me photos of them and make sure they know that Greatnan has sent them.

For the two grandchildren still at school but in NZ, I have discovered that I can send them Amazon vouchers and there are always things they want on the site.

I wasn't boasting Nelliemoser. grin

Just whining really. I'm fed up with it already.

I'm gonna shove 'em all under the bed and make Baubles' Xmas cake recipe tomorrow.

Or just have another day like today. hmm
