Why didn't I think of it before

Sorry to disagree Petra, but I love Brucie, and he was sadly missed by us all last night.

Nor me. I can't stand Alan Sugar, Richard Branson, Piers Morgan, Cliff Richards , Noel Edmunds - I am good at not being able to stand people.

I have never liked Bruce Forsyth he's so full of himself, pulling silly faces at the camera etc and I really can't stand catch phrases, they make me cringe.

Don't like him - and can't stand strictly - we caught a glimpse tonight whilst awaiting Antiques Road Show and we both doived for the remote! Sorry - each to his own.

Rod Stewart, can't believe I liked him once. Saw some horrible footage of him on Graham Norton recently dabbing his eyes with a handkerchief at a recent football match where surprisingly Scotland beat Barcelona! Oh for God's sake if you have to boo hoo into your mate's hanky try and do it about something that matters, preferably about something that doesn't include balls! and anyway just because you're called Stewart that doesn't make you Scottish you also need to consume vast quantities of deep fried Mars bars! Still quite like the gravelly voice, just don't want to listen to him being interviewed. Oh and on the subject of interviewers, add on Jonathan Ross, doesn't let his guests get a word in, too busy talking about himself. Also Bono, Sting and Chris Martin for their right on lecturing about how to save the planet. But poor old doddery Bruce, he's not that bad, can't help fluffing his lines occasionally!

Hated him on the RBLs remembrance service. He didn't even get the words right. It's for auld langs syne. Not for the sake of. That's tautology. I might have the scots spelling wrong but!

is it just getting a touch older that makes so many people very annoying or was it ever thus and only more noticable now. Think could enjoy getting into the swing of not having to bother with things/people I really don't care about!

Do you mean that people who are getting older get more irritating,or that as we get older we find others more irritating? or both!

Which ever way round it is I suspect that we are just more prepared to say what we think and dont care!

I could not believe Rod Stewart on RBL on Saturday evening. What a farce that was, and seemed to me to have nothing to do with what I always think of as a quiet reflection on the way the world is today.
I do quite like Bruce, although at times I could gladly throw something at the t.v. when he makes those really silly 'jokes' but then if he did not do that then he would not be 'Brucie'. (ouch!)

Have never liked Bruce Forsyth but also dislike, Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton. Graham Norton used to be quite good but then got too full of himself. Why do we always see the same faces on TV I am sure there are lots of talented people who would welcome the opportunity. Its time Bruce retired and gave someone else a chance

I've never liked Bruce Forsyth, weird looking cove as my GF used to say. Also can't stand: Stephen Fry[too much exposure],Jonathan Ross, Alan Sugar,Simon Cowell,Graham Norton,Noel Edmunds, Jeremy Vile, Paul McCartney [ yes I know, but his wig!!!],the list goes on. None us us have mentioned women we can't stand so 'ere goes: Anne Robinson, Mary Portas, Tessa whatsaname with Bruce on that stupid Strictly programme, Denise Van Outen, Vanessa Phelps [is that right?] or is it Feltz.

I didn't realise that Bruce Forsythe is still alive. I thought he must have died years ago. Perhaps he is dead and has been stuffed.

I admire Brucie for carrying on (and on and on and on..) for so long. But I agree with most of the others Dorset. I like loads of other people in the public eye, but just can't come up with their names right now.

I like Matthew Wright, Bradley Walsh, Sean Lock, David Attenborough, Richard Dawkins, Rachel Gilbert (nee Riley), the Queen, Princesse Anne, Susie Dent, Stacey Solomon............and Carole Thatcher.

I don't like Carole Vorderman, Jane McDonald (Tory), most of the women on Loose Women, Anne Widdecombe, people who claim to have a 'zany' sense of humour (why do they need to tell people?) and, obviously, Margaret Thatcher.

Where was Brucie on Saturday night when Tess and Claudia did the business? His absence was not explained, or did I miss something?

They did say he would have a little rest halfway through.

Oh, I thought they might have quietly shelved him!

Don't like any of those women in shampoo adds swinging their hair about or those women giggling like little girls with a dob of cream on their noses and their hands over their mouths and their toes turned in (how does that link to paedophilia I wonder)?
