I've been icing one as well, and I can't get my snowdrifts to stay up - and Daisy the white-haired cat [ is being curious. I'm trying to keep her out of the kitchen but it's difficult to get a cat to be biddable, isn't it?

I've been studying recipes on the internet. Amazing how many ways there are to make shortcrust pastry.

Didn't do snowdrifts this year, bought ready to roll and just plopped it on, so much easier. Cut out a few leaves and done! [fsmug emotion]

Homemade Xmas cakes deserve homemade marzipan and homemade royal icing. Shop stuff? No!!!!

My drifts are still all floppy....but getting a bit firmer now...I shall put silver balls around them as soon as they firm up, to make it look twinkley.
