End of the world.

According to my local radio it is due to end at 11.11 am. I have already emailed friends to say goodbye and have arranged to meet them on the right hand side of the pearly gates

I heard someone saying on FB that would all the people who think the world is ending tomorrow please bring their valuables round to them!! However I will give my GC a slightly bigger cuddle in the morning when he leaves for school ;)

Well, here is my take on the end of the current Mayan Long count:
It's my birthday on 22nd. What an amazing day for a birthday! It's the first day of a brand new era
22nd December is always an amazing day for a birthday though. It's when the days start getting longer again.
You could say I'm a bit of an optimist

I wish I had remembered about the end of the world and would not have cleaned the fridge and freezer out tonight.

I'm with you there I have cleaned fridge, freezer and oven ready for visitors now they won't be coming if the world ended. I could have left the dirt where it is.

At 11.11am, I will be sitting at the back-wash having my hair shampooed. I will enter the pearly gates with wet - but clean - hair. See you there...

If I arrive at the Pearly Gates at 11 minutes past 11, I hope the Devil doesn't know I'm gone until at least 11.30. I may need some time to talk my way in...
