Another what I did today thread

am just a day late but yeaterday i had a good day with the ramblers club walking round northumbland ,then finished off in a very nice pub

I waved farewell to dear Mr soop at the crack of dawn. He's now in hospital, misses me [and Rory] and is "bored".
Rory basking in wall to wall sunshine. The sea is mirror-like and there's very little breeze.
Planning to meet Bags tomorrow [for a Scottish "blether"...]

Rory has been hindering helping me to do a few jobs around the house. He knows that he has a chicken supper [don't ask me how] and keeps standing in front of the fridge with a glazed look in his eyes. As it's been so sunny, it has been a treat to be able to leave the back and front doors ajar. He's in his element...traipses through one, wanders along the path, comes in through the other. All good exercise.

Weather forecast is good for tomorrow. Inveraray should look at it's best.

Came back from Derbyshire thrilled to bits about my new grandson. DD left for the hospital nervous and expecting to be induced as planned but realised in the car that she was having regular contractions. Within six hours Howard Hugh was born, and within eleven hours she was back home with him to the two waiting grans, GS1 and Aunty Minibags. Grins, hugs and cuddles ensued. . Great-grandfather, who shares one of the names, was quite overcome when I phoned him with the news [sweet].

It's been a glorious sunny but cold day here in Cheshire. I spent a lovely afternoon walking with my four year old DGD. I am lucky to live a few 100 yards away from an ancient peat bog, known locally as The Moss. It was DGD first visit and she was both enchanted and excited by walking around the paths open to the public looking for Jenny Greenteeth and Nellie Longarms, we had quite an adventure Meanwhile. DH pottered around the garden and kept an eye on 18 month old DGS who slept like a log in his stroller.

Hasn't jingle posted? Is she ok? Or have I just missed her!
