We had a lovely time! I drove through Argyll admiring the hoar frost and ice on the sea loch beaches and the ice on the sea and freshwater lochs, snow (some) on the mountains and more hoar frost on the trees in the shadowed valleys. Beautiful, beautiful Scotland, all within an hour or so of where I live
. And then soop and I chatted non-stop for two and a half hours+. We got someone in the pub (gran since last November we discovered; join gransnet, we said!) to take some photos, which I will upload anon when Minibags gets off Katie (the desk computer). The sea ice had still not melted even by mid-afternoon, with the tide in and out, so I guess the sea water is COLD in the shallow parts. But it was the most beautiful to look at and lovely to remember day. Cheers!
