I often wonder where the names come from that appear on these site. My name is Dlottilind, made up from my first name Dorothy and middle name Linda, anyone care to share?confused

Mine is that of a favourite doll, who is still around and lives with DD. The name first got resurrected when I was trying to set up a user name on ebay and every combination of my own name, places I lived etc etc got rejected. DD suggested it and it worked so I tend to use it for a lot of things because being of a simple mind I find dealing with lots of different user names for different online applications far too confusing. Having devised one, I stick to it.

Since then, being a simple soul, and not wanting to be confused by a range of different user names on different sites I have used it for most online applications, including Gransnet.

Mine is a mixture of my initials when I was single; as in Miss HAP.

I was also known as the Bottomless Pit, as my surname was Pitt and I was very thin indeed!

Because the Phoenix rises from the ashes, and that is what I try to do.

Mine is what I decided to be called when I became a grandmother. The
G for Granny and the rest is my name - no prizes for guessing that!

Mine is a wicked parody of what people where I live love to refer to their daughters, and the colour they dress them in.
I chose it as being a the snob that I am about them, and also out of pure jealousy as I did not have a daughter.
I have four grandaughters though, none of whom are pink princesses thank goodness.

A newcomer pinched my name so I chose my mum's name and my birth year.

Mine is because my DSGD already has 2 other grandmothers and my DH is Italian. The Susie is what his sister calls me.
