Well think I've found it!

Cooeee, ariadne are you there? I can't see you in the dim light?

Ariadne Sun 17-Mar-13 09:41:03

All I said, on another thread, was #goingtoliedownindarkenedroom......
Enjoyed your company, everyone! Let's open the curtains now, eh? xx

Phoenix hope your spirits little better today!

Think some warm sun would cheer us all up.

Please can we keep the curtains drawn for hit longer - I went to see my mum today. Any of that vodka left. The bottle and a long straw will be fine, thank you.

Galen Sun 17-Mar-13 16:46:47

Oh dear! What's gone wrong now?

Ariadne Sun 17-Mar-13 17:55:12

Tell you what - let's keep this room stocked with all the stuff we need to relax and just be daft (perhaps someone could list these essentials) then we can drop in and out if we need to.

There are several big comfy sofas, and soft lighting, and yes, kitty of course we can keep the curtains shut. What has mum done or said now?

I am here with a large glass of Pinot, revising the weekend. Seemed to be an awful lot of rugby....

I'm here with my vodka. I'm afraid it couldn't have been manflu I had as I think I'm going to live!
Had a lovely relaxing whirlpool bath with bubbles this morning.
Only one problem, I don't think the bubbles are supposed to get knee deep through the entire bathroom!
Are they?

kittylester Sun 17-Mar-13 19:13:04

That would be lovely Galen !! Go with the flow, as we used to say grin

Mum didn't do anything drastic. It just took a carer and I an age to get her dressed and get her to the dining room for lunch. But, when we got her there, she looked like 'lady muck' waving to her subjects and asking after their health. She's never met any of them before confused Nothing drastic as I said but answering correctly is quite a b****r. For instance telling me 'Kitty hasn't been for ages - I think I'll change my will'. I can't say that she already has and is leaving all her diamond rings to my younger brother's ex-girlfriend and missing out me, two DiLs, 4 DGDs and 2 DGGDs. grin

Oh, Kitty - I'm surprised your tongue hasn't been bitten completely off! smile

Ariadne Sun 17-Mar-13 20:47:25

A stiff drink perhaps, Kitty? How about a vodka and something, or a wee dram? Put your feet up and let everything go for a while....(flllows own suggestion)

Galen you are dripping bubbles everywhere!

Kitty my late mother was the same! There was only one couple in the home who she thought might have been roughly on her level, as their child was a doctor. But she didn't speak to them as they were Indian!
What terrible snobs our parents were!sad
Sorry about the bubbles!
I don't have bath often as it means putting in the bath lift!
I normally have a shower? But a soak is soooooooooooo nice!

Maybe our mothers were separated at birth Galen grin
