gracesmum since when did men, priests or otherwise, buy lingerie for their sisters/mum?

I have heard from a family member in the episcopal clergy that in hot weather the answer is "Not a lot" particularly with those nice fancy outfits they sport on special occasions.

I answer to Riverwalk I am only trying to be charitable and as for what they wear under their cassocks(*not frocks*, nonu) - well...who are we to judge. Could be spanx for all I care.

I used to belong to an Anglo/catholic church before I moved here , in fact i was the Sacristan.

The parish priest used to joke that in what other job could men get to wear frocks

I always thought they would wear a pair of "holy drawers".
