Goose is a valued customer who 'likes a drink'...and she did last night

She often calls in for a session when she's been kicked out of the 'Farmer's Arms'

Ooh, really looking up then Pete I didn't realise Goose was a regular and a big spender too. Maybe you'll be able to afford a cleaner now. This place has a whiff of age

Thought I would just pop in for a warm as it is freezing out to-day I fancied a hot chocolate topped up with a spot (big spot) of Brandy and what do I find !! the cleaner has let us down again so I'm polishing the bar and all the floor is covered in bits of pork scratchings,you must have run out of pies and sausage rolls so will have to roll up my sleeves again it's a good job I love cooking or you lot would all starve.Now where has he hidden that bottle of Brandy ???

Atta girl glammanana I don't think it's right though that you have to set to and clean and supply the food - all for free. That Pete certainly gets the most out of us women

A bit early for brandy for me but you enjoy yourself, you've earned it!

Sel nothing better than touch of Brandy (or bucket) to top up your coffee/chocolate on a cold day,it just gets a bit embarressing when you have sat there for a while not counting how many you have had and you wonder why your legs are not in sequence with your body ?? not that it happens to me I may add

Sounds pretty good to me glamma particularly if the brandy is from Pete's secret stash. You must be a long way North to be so cold

glam has done a good job with the food again!! Funny tho...I asked for a Bacon butty...and she said that she felt a little tired..........she's now snoring away in the comfy chair ...anyone seen the Brandy??

Postcard from Lil today...she is ok......says that she has a deep tan!! (think leather armchair) and you can imagine.. . She also said I should keep an aye on the "herb garden" out the back as it should be ready now???

Quick pint and that's it....late night last night.........just found an empty Brandy bottle stuffed behind the comfy chair

No ....when she finally woke up she was off like a spring chicken....

Fine lot you are leaving me to sleep in the corner when I woke up I didn't know where I was, the place was empty one of you could have given me a nudge poor mr.glamma had to make his own supper and I only popped in at lunch-time well thats the Brandy for you it was quite difficult walking in those heels a wee bit of a wobble on I'm affraid to say still I enjoyed the company (what I saw of it).I must get the oven on and get some pies and stew made up for the freezer it's looking rather bare,reminds me of "old mother hubbard"

Didn't want to disturb you glamma as you looked very peaceful...loud but peaceful.

Really fancy a big bowl of stew later in front of the log fire......Can't expect any warm weather yet...not with Bank Holiday coming up..

You do work hard glamma and obviously needed the rest I'd say pete is working you too hard - all that cooking, he's so demanding

Mind you, you seem a willing sort 'pies and stew'. Pete must have something. Hope Mr.Glamma isn't suffering too much

No need to fret about mr.glamma he goes for his afternoon constitutional between 2/4pm he strolls there and rolls back (if you see what I mean he goes sampling the "guest beers" served locally so he is well looked after by Avril the barmaid !!!

The stew was lovely and filling glamma......I've left some for tomorrow as I needed to save room for a swift half!!

Funny how a 'swift-half' turns into 'a pint' which turns into 'a couple' which turns into 'a few' which turns into tomorrow Cheers

I'm much relieved glamma It doesn't sound as if Mr Glamma is in any position to question how and where you spend your afternoons and nights what with him having this Avril person for company

Pete obviously really appreciates your stew. Seemed to make him thirsty though - too much salt perhaps?

He's probably slumped behind the bar now but I'm not off to check - Ana 'n Ella will probably be in later for the cleaning shift
