Phew !! thats me done for the week-end I have been tied to the cooker for the past 2 days so don't take any excusses from the boss when he tells you the bar is out of food rations,I've done loads of sausage rolls and plenty of steak & Kid pies for the long week-end plenty of pickled cabbage and coleslaw and not a bacon buttie in sight
I'll stay and have a large Brandy & coke as I feel I deserve a bit of me time all this cooking is not good for my poor old feet and I need to relax with a large glass or two.
Has anyone any idea why I saw a couple of firemen looking a wee bit lost outside the back door ? thing is they didn't have their hose's with them I wonder where they have left them.

glammanana are you sure they're firemen? They're not bandy, wearing chaps round their legs, cracking whips, waving lariats around, smoking charoots and shouting 'Yeeehaaaa' at every passing tractor?
