I'm drinking a cup of tea and eating a cheese sandwich. Peering at moss through a microscope is very hungry-making, I find.

I haven't told you about the GIANT spider that appeared on the petri dish yet.

I haven't been for a walk today but I have just eaten a very nice pear. It was a Packham's pear, for those of you who are dying to know.

I would have lain awake all night wondering what the variety was if you hadn't said.
