I flew up to Aberdeen on Monday and a young woman I recognised got on the flight with her two dc. I couldn't think where I knew her from so decided it must one of those 'her off of the tellie' women and gave it no more thought. When we disembarked at Aberdeen I saw her again and the penny dropped - Sophie Wessex and her children! I must admit I was most envious that their car was on the airport apron and they didn't need to join the scrum to get their bags.

Fergie, Andrew and the girls came up the previous day by private jet. BA isn't good enough for them, apparently.

So what....the Queen's corgis accompanied her in a private jet to Balmoral

Security is a serious issue when the Queen is travelling. It isn't for the Duke of York and other unimportant hangers-on.

I think it would make sense. They are neither of them getting any younger and they've got a lot of shared past. They've always seemed to have a better relationship than a lot of married couples.
