I read in the paper that Fergie has been at Balmoral this weekend , although before the D of E turned up !

Wonder what that was all about , after all the years in the wilderness ! Is there another Royal wedding in the offing I ask myself .

The children of the Queen do not seem to have much "luck" in the way of relationships, all having experienced divorce with the exception of Edward & Sophie, and a recent account that I read mentioned their relationship as being more like sister and brother hmm

I suppose one problem has been the need to marry a "suitable" partner. Couple suitability with with a willingness to cope with the goldfish bowl existance and you're really beginning to look for the impossible. Camilla wasn't suitable for Charles, Koo Stark wasn't suitable for Andrew, Mark Phillips couldn't hack being a Royal and Chelsey Davey left Harry for the same reason. If Edward and Sophie can make it work in their own way that's probably as good as it gets.
