Hi, some of you already know of my DH and what he has done to me and our family, so after surviving Christmas with the help of you lot, the New Year's Party, that I don't remember how I got home from,
i am back here to let you know that my little saying of 'Cry a river, build a bridge, walk over the bridge to a new life' is being put into operation I have bought a hard hat and my bridge is under construction
Gave my DH and floosie a shock this morning, we bank online,but this morning I could not log in, after having my card cloned last year, my first thought was either DH had changed bank long in details or my computer had been hacked. I emailed DH and said what had happened and he had 30 mins to tell me if it was him or I was going to cancel all bank cards. Well he didn't email, so I rang her house in #America and when she answered I asked to speak to my DH please, she made some sort of response so I repeated the request and then DH came on the line, said he knew nothing about changing the bank, don't cancel his card, he would try and log on from there and see if he could find a problem. He then sent me a mail in seconds saying don't cancel my card I shall be stuck here and not able to get home!
Well GN's I think he thought I had come down with the last lot of rain, I responded with You have a return ticket and a girl friend to lend you the money, you can get home.
He then rang me and said he could get into the accounts, would I try again and let him know what had happened. I spoke to bank, they checked system had no idea why system had locked me out, but everything was o.k. I let DH sweat a bit and then emailed and said bank o.k., solicitor stuff ready for when you return.
I think it must have been a shock to answer the phone and I am on the other end, I do hope so
it has put a smile on my face several times today. The fact that I was shaking when I phoned, and I have been a bit wobbly since speaking to him, well I expect thats normal. But I am counting what I did as the first part of the foundation for my bridge. I may have to dig a bit deeper or even start again, but my bridge is on the way, there has been no crying today. take care everyone thank you so much for your support.
You use the term "my thread" withany I was under the impression that anyone could start a thread but that didn't mean others are discouraged from adding their comments and observations. Or sharing their own experience. Perhaps this is why I felt you might like to write a blog.

Hi, been busy cleaning fish tanks today, having trouble sourcing new light tubes for it, my local pet shop no longer sells them juwel 22inch x 1 1/2 inches, so searching the net.
My DGS from Sweden skyped this afternoon, he says I am shrinking! lovely to talk to him, he isn't really sure why his granddad is in America and I am still here,
when he asked today If he was o.k. because of the freezing weather conditions, I just said he says he's o.k. lets hope he can take some fantastic photos of the big freeze. He seemed satisfied with that.
No news from SB, I am almost counting the hours until Tuesday morning, once I have seen solicitor I hope to feel more settled, getting everything ready for his return.
So far I have resisted my urge to add itching powder to his boxer shorts, but I wasn't careful when clearing his stuff, Wellie boots went ontop of a very nice straw hat oops, outdoor gardening shoes went in with his white tops oops. You just can't see into these black bags when you put stuff in can you?
I have gone up another step on my bridge for the oops. Well out of the water now, hope to start building the top after Tuesday.

Today, I went shopping, got some bananas, came home, spent some time on GN, went through some holiday brochures, am quite interested in a Murder/Mystery weekend.
It's very relaxing and calming watching fish, mesmerising, and I would have thought, they would be fairly easy to keep. Can't imagine what went wrong with yours Tegan, a woman of your calibre should have had no problem. Do tell us more.

That must have been an upsetting situation for you having to pretend to DGS that nothing was wrong . I think you obviously handled it well if he was satisfied with yours answers.

Thank you for your good wishes for Tuesday, car fixed so I am mobile again.
Hi, no idea if DH is alive and kicking, where he is in West Virginia, they have had a major water contamination, from chemicals used to wash coal. Report suggests the major water provider has been hit and the tap water is not to be drunk, cooked in or bathed in. water was being tested hourly so must have been really toxic, for a state of emergency to be declared. Perhaps I will dust the insurance policy down just in case.
Finally found the last bit of information Solicitor wanted, so am ready to 'rock DHs world'
