The tiles must be very annoying It's everything coming at once, I suppose!
Thanks, Dragonfly - I'm still struggling - trying hard to keep my head above water (hehe). Went out with DH yesterday into London - wasn't sure my energy would be up to it, but I managed OK, even with a very painful foot (plantar fasciitis). Was glad I made the effort. Today I'm trying to keep busy doing housework and trying to ride the inevitable anxious and depressive thoughts. I am meditating every day, which I'm sure will benefit me eventually. DD2 has asked us to help with the baby on Monday, which has lifted my spirits a bit, and we're going to a family get-together with MIL on Sunday (I will have to brace myself because DH's sister and husband are over from Canada and we don't always see eye to eye, to say the least - and MIL is sometimes rather tactless and makes critical comments). DD2 will be going, and DH's other sister and family, and we get on well with them, so hopefully it won't be too difficult.
Re the tile: could you get a local man to replace the tile for you, if you have kept spares? Alternatively a disguise job might be possible. Fingers crossed!
