I don't.
I think by the time we reach adulthood - hopefully by around the age of thirty at the latest - we will have formed our own characters, beliefs, and rules for living, based on rational thought. This must surely be an on-going process throughout life, and would change as we come up against new experiences. If we have had less than ideal things happen to us early on, we would have thought them out and put them behind us, or perhaps learned how to learn from them. In other words, put them to good use.
Is it a cop-out to blame our parents and early teachers for the way we think and act now? I think it is.
