Good Morning Sunday

Dark and gloomy here , have grandson and his wife coming for Sunday lunch so I've pushed the boat out and have a piece of beef on the go.. all vegs prepared and a chocolate cake for dessert. This beautiful young lady had a bleed on the brain six months ago and is still recovering so she finds going out and holding conversations very taxing so I'm happy for them to come and eat then leave as and when she is ready to go home... such a life changing event in their newly married status. It will be nice to see them though.

Nothing exciting Greenfinch just not following chiropractors orders of almost complete bed rest with limited sitting out and ice packs. My ex boss (chiropractor) used to say don't sit for more than half an hour at the acute stage.
Maybe creaking across the room in between half hours isn't enough.

Tanith, that is such a shame. It must help her a lot to be able to get out in such a relaxed atmosphere.

Thankyou dustyangel , she is recovering but its painful and slow. We are all hoping she will be well enough to pick up her active and work life again one day and that all the plans they had made will once again be possible..
We had a lovely dinner and after chocolate cake and cup of tea they made their way home with Grandson driving her car, she was telling me that is the thing she can't come to terms with yet, losing her independence. She can't just open her front door and go out either walking or driving alone.
