Moving ads on Gransnet

Aha! I think I've fixed my problem with Adblock.

Although it had been installed OK, it hadn't been 'enabled' for some reason. If you go into 'manage add-ons' and view all add-ons, if Adblock is listed but 'disabled' right-click to enable it.

And the icon is showing at the bottom of the page, for some reason, but at least it's there!

Oh I'm glad you found the problem Ana - and hope others will be able to get it sorted now you've pointed them in the right direction!

Has anyone bought premium Adblock or is basic app sufficient?

Mine was a free download, Adblock Plus - I wouldn't pay for it.

I had none five minutes ago and now Bathstore has come up.....

Lots there on my earlier session....and I have Adblock enabled....

I've had absolutely no adverts since I enabled mine.
TBH I'm now missing Helen Mirren a bit...

I went in and ticked the 'enable' square...but it seems it isn't?

I've got two from FMP. No thanks Adblock!

I rightclicked on one of them and then on a line that said 'Enable Adblock plus' - and they've gone.
But why wasn't it enabled anyway????

Alie, I have IE but see you have Firefox so settings may be different.

It seems to have worked - but I don't know why I thought of clicking on the ad!

I have Adblock and don't have any ads.... but I have to remember to turn them off when I go on to Quidco to order stuff nice things that I don't really need
