Aren't all these little ones great. I have great nieces and nephews and one of the girls was over 10lb...ouch!!

My latest DGS was 10lb 4oz. He hadn't been flagged up as a big baby and was 3lb heavier than his big brother.

My dgc were tiny at around 6lb and that was bad enough! I feel as a great aunt I should go a bit Margaret Rutherford or perhaps Joan Hickson??

I've been a Great Aunt for nearly 20 years. I suppose Great Great Aunthood might be beckoning soon.

My middle DD was 9.10 and it was the easiest delivery of all three. My 8 gc's were all under 7lbs

Joyful news! A lovely big great niece, KateK. I have seven 'greats' two of whom are in NZ. I'm seeing the others soon when we celebrate my sister's 70th. One of my GSs was 10lb 10oz - but he's a skinny, wiry, almost 10 year old now! for great auntie.
