A couple of things you might not know about me.......

I have an odd fear of fire engines. I don't just pull over when I hear one but I try and turn off the road completely. And I turn the radio up to drown out the sound (never works of course).

I don't like pizza.

I drive a peugeot but my dream car is a mini!

I love the idea of a caravan but in 'real life' give me a 5 star hotel any time

Right, here goes...

I adore cruises, especially when they include time in the USA.

I'm only 4'10" tall, but have somehow managed to produce two tall, strapping sons.

My favourite music is 60s Beach Boys, Jan and Dean, really most stuff from that era. As soon as I hear it I feel 16 again.

I drive a Nissan Juke (with the help of a small cushion!)

I hate pears and rhubarb, can't bear the smell of either

I had a 'proper' mini years ago, loved it, the children grew out of it, very sad.

I love rivers, streams, the sea, oceans - any sort of water (that isn't flooding.....)

I wanted to be an archaeologist or a librarian - didn't quite do either although I love books and live with a very old person .

I drive a sporty Mercedes Benz (that surprises even me). I drive it sedately.

I'm a neurotic passenger in a car, always slightly terrified on motorways. But I'm very happy on "B" roads.

Like cornergran I love all types of water.

But I can't swim.

I adore classical music, particularly Smetana, Mozart and Vaughn Williams.
I don't have my own car but prefer driving my son's Zaphira to my DH's little Ford Ka!
I can crochet absolutely anything
I love travelling by train.

Hi gillybob great thread. Drive ka but got to change it, can only just manage two baby seats in back. Favourite holiday sailing around greek islands in a little boat. favourite past time ride outs on the back of DH motorbike. We've rode round mountains of Northan Spain twice. Usualy though just round beautiful Wales. Hate liver - love chocolate!
