Are you a regular cinema goer? we only go about four times a year these days, but usually enjoy it so should go more.
What did you go and see last?We saw the latest Bond film ( Dh's choice.)

I saw Beauty and the Beast last week too, it was great. In fact I could watch it again. ?

'Lion' was the last I saw in the cinema - it was brilliant. Before that it was Manchester by the Sea, which was v good but rather sad.

I don't often go, because so little appeals. I hate violence, war films, blokey action things with a lot of shooting and car chases, and anything really miserable or depressing.
Can't stand anything slushy or 'cute', either.
Which doesn't leave much!

Looking forward to 'Sense of an Ending' which is being released soon. Read the book and liked it, but have completely forgotten what it was about!

Dh will often go on his own to anything I don't fancy.

The return of the Jedi with my young children. Now 43 and 45

Boss Baby with my three grandchildren (and my dad) today. The highlight of the entire film (for the children) was when the baby got his bum talcum'd and then farted pumped shock creating a kind of powder cloud.

Lord of the Rings ,before that it was one of the Dan Brown films Angels and Demons... one that has Rosslin chapel in it.Not a cinema lover ,we went twice a week when I was little as the films changed midweek and I worked in a cinema before I left school,I like old B/W films but I cant stand all the new stuff with too much special effects ,My OH watches them at home while I read

Beauty and the Beast. DGD looked round and noted that there were 'quite a few girls with their grans!'
Lovely to hear her singing along and to see how pleased she was to realise that Mrs Potts was Nanny McPhee!
Last adult film, the week before, was Viceroy's House.

We went to see Life the other day. It was awful - a very poor version of Alien - a ridiculous plot, unconvincing acting, corny dialogue. Just terrible. I felt embarrassed that I'd convinced my husband to go and see it.

Beauty and the Beast with both daughters and granddaughters. DD2 aged 33 loved it even more than the little girls!
