Sixty five years ago, my dad walked me down the aisle to give me away to the man who still holds my hand when we cross the road. No idea where the time has gone, not set the world on fire, just lived very ordinary lives, with love, and shared sorrow and happiness. Two lucky people.
Fantastic! - Well done. It's wonderful to hear of such an amazing milestone. And you get less time for murder!!! Seriously, wish you both many more happy years together and enjoy your day. xxx
You must be very proud to have made your journey supporting each other through thick and thin. What a wonderful outlook you have. Many congratulations and hope you have a very special day.
How lovely Printmiss Many congratulations. Although I've only been with my DH for 47 years, I could have written your post. It's reassuring to know that there are others like us out there who have a simple but enjoyable life. I dread the day when my DH won't be there to hold my hand, should he go first.
Happy anniversary! Today is our 33rd anniversary and I too, am still holding the same mans hand! He has got me through infertility, depression, breast cancer and the deaths of both parents - my darling Daddy only last year. How lucky I feel to have found him!
Lovely to read your post. You are both so lucky to have met each other. I always smile when I see an older couple holding hands, and it is so good to see. My congratulations to you both.
