Went to pick up GD from school today. Noticed that there was some sort of after school sports activity going on which her friend was taking part in. Wondering what she was wearing (looked a bit skimpy) and my GD said she was doing it in her pants (I mean literally her knickers rather than shorts or anything) because she didn't have her PE kit with her. Should I mention this to her mum.?

Now we need a GNetter in LA to explain their bin system ... anyone?

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 19:08:37

Well, where I live, nobody recycles or anything. We have just 2 big wheely bins provided by the council, and nothing else.

If your bins are dotted around the town Cherry do you have to walk with rubbish bags to get to them I don’t drive so how far would I have to lug a heavy smelly bin bag

Ok, I’ll bow out gracefully and let the “regulars” dictate how a thread should progress. Just won’t bother again.

Noooooo - come back craftynan I was only pulling your leg..........

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 20:34:27

Oh, it wasn't anyone dictating, craftynan! Its just that its a second thread started by the same person about girls, P.E, and knickers. We decided not to play along, so just had a general chat, instead flowers

craftynan Wed 22-Nov-17 20:38:28

Oh, sorry, hadn’t grasped why thread had got sidetracked ?

nanaK54 Wed 22-Nov-17 20:46:32

Phew!

Thought that I was going to have to send you a pm craftynan - I wouldn't purposefully upset anyone, that's not my style smile

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 20:46:40

So, that's why we're talking 'rubbish', literally. grin

craftynan Wed 22-Nov-17 20:47:37

Aaah, thank you so much x

nanaK54 Wed 22-Nov-17 20:48:14

purposefully that's not what I mean is it? Purposely is that what I mean?
No idea should get back to bins grin

craftynan Wed 22-Nov-17 20:48:42

Think I’m going to have to get a bit more “with it” !!!!

MissAdventure Wed 22-Nov-17 20:58:37

Well, if you do, could you get me some "with it" too, please?

craftynan Wed 22-Nov-17 21:01:45

gringringrin

trisher Thu 23-Nov-17 10:35:31

I want my share of "with it" as well. Do you think we could get a bulk buy discount?

Fennel Thu 23-Nov-17 11:13:30

I've only just read this thread, because I was puzzled by the title.ie
God's friend - Jesus
Jesus' Mum - Mary.
So what has Mary got to do with p.e. clothing??

Jalima1108 Thu 23-Nov-17 11:30:36

Jesus is God
His friend (amongst others) could be John the Baptist (cousin)
Whose mother was Elizabeth

Although his best friend was Simon Peter - we know about his MIL but who was his mother?

Jalima1108 Thu 23-Nov-17 11:32:20

ps if one of them was called Margaret, then M&S used to do ranges called St Margaret and St Michael

Does that help at all Fennel?

Bellanonna Thu 23-Nov-17 11:51:20

They used to have a good range in knickers, but have dropped the saintly label.

Fennel Thu 23-Nov-17 12:45:26

Jalima grin - that could be it!
So don't buy M&S knickers.
