We've had a regular series of disparaging threads about "men" starting from way back and recently dealing with mens' underdeveloped domestic skills like not washing up the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, not putting things away in their proper places, not rushing off to the GP with a cut finger and lately poor posture when seated wearing inappropriate shorts. And yet ladies knock back (apparently) free medical advice re: fat! without any male responses. Are we men or mice? Time to say our piece, men! 
why don't you fight back by complaining
Fennel; Not interested! Can do all those things. Anything I can't, then I get an expert in, or better still, go on a course to learn how. All you need is a certificate in common sense. 
And don't forget; you'll soon need a man about the house to put up the C-decorations and the tree lights. I used to get great satisfaction doing that; even vacuuming the carpet of pine needles afterwards.
