Good morning Mick and all who follow, dark here in Glasgow, but we are promised a fine day, before the yellow weather warning on Friday.
We have DGD today and trying to prepare for the kitchen being ripped out on Friday. Happy days!

Our 48th wedding anniversary today but it is also school run day so no celebrating until we go out for Sunday lunch - possibly!

Due to be lovely warm weather here today I have persuaded DH to take a break from everything he is doing and come with me to Windsor for the day. There may be preparations going on for Eugenie’s wedding on Friday pity she won’t get today’s weather.

Kitty congratulations to you and your DH ??. I am not sure what a sweep is but if it produces your new grandchild that will be excellent.

Mary when all your home improvements are completed it looks as if you will be in a position to open up to the public, has the Scottish NT been in touch with you yet ? ?

NanKate have a lovely day out in Windsor. You may well see some of the preparations for the wedding. I wish the press would stop being so unkind to the two princesses. They can't help who they were born to nor how they looks and I bet Eugenie looks lovely in her wedding finery.

Morning All

Thick fog here in Norfolk. That bright fog which says the sun is shining above it. And very pretty it is too.

DH cleaned the caravan inside and out all on his own yesterday as I developed a really bad splitting headache and took to my bed. Much better this morning though, just a little nausea and the feeling I’d really like to wash my eyeballs in something cooling!

Happy Anniversary to Mr and Mrs Lister. Wouldn’t it be lovely if the baby arrives today - what the heck is a sweep?

Good morning all. I think We are due to get the nicest day of the week in East Northants, so I must make the most of it. Archery this morning, followed by coffee. Then a good leaf sweeping session this afternoon. I didn't get the puzzle board I was looking for in Hobbycraft, so I may have to order online. Wishing everyone a very pleasant day.

Good morning from a bright Northampton. Up at silly o'clock to distract myself from lying in bed thinking about all the 'what-ifs' around DH - what if he'd been referred earlier, what if I'd known then what I know now regarding his treatment, what if, what if....... can't change anything now. Just keeping myself busy this morning to take my mind off it; got some washing in, might start sorting some of DH's old family photographs dating back to the 1930s/40s, which I put in a big cardboard box in the cupboard under the stairs many years ago after clearing late PIL's house, and always meant to put in an album for future generations. I have ordered proper old-fashioned photo albums from Amazon, with photo corners and all! Off to the Errol Flynn filmhouse this afternoon to see a new film 'Puzzle', and looking forward to my glass of malbec and perhaps posh popcorn!

Good morning. Michael and all GNs. Another sunny day in South Yorkshire. Nothing much on the cards today except we have to go and get some tile trim and I must do some ironing. Happy anniversary to Mr and Mrs KLester??! While we were at the library yesterday DH picked up a book and waved it at me - “Divorce and Dissolution”. Sorry to read that you have had a bad night Bluesapphire and I hope that going through the photos and sorting them will bring you some comfort. . You are so right about the “what ifs”, but we still think them, don’t we. Take care.
