Another happy one. "I'm pregnant". DH andI were not married then . Both 19 years old. We are still together 53 years later.

I have a spare ticket to a Christmas Dance, do you want to come with me?
52 years later, so pleased I said yes.

"Of course girls get paid a third less then the boys. They are just not as good"

First job TSB 1968 - more annoying in that within weeks I was the one trusted to do certain jobs that the boys weren't because I didn't make the mistakes they did. Really spurred me on to prove the patriarchy wrong.

After years of anxiety and depression I attended an OU Summer School where I first heard the quote 'Nothing matters very much and very little matters at all'.

"I want a divorce".

Grannyknot....Mine too, other way around.
When she answered the door, I immediately thought, "She`s out of my class" but it was a blind date set up by a mutual friend.
Next month is our 39th wedding anniversary.

Of the seven questions on our finals papers, give of them were the ones we had studied on that ward. I passed and my career was set.?

On holiday in Italy with mum and dad. I'd exchange looks and smiles with a guy holidaying with his cousin. We were on a day trip and he'd bought his mum a handbag and didn't want to carry it.
Still together 46 yrs later.

“I’m sorry, there is nothing more we can do for him”. The doctors about my Dad. He died 46 years ago today. ?
