I have started to do this since about three weeks ago.I am i am not making this up but the difference in the texture of my skin is amazing.Like all of us, as we get older our skin dries out, i always use lotion everyday, and now with eating 3/4 walnuts daily i have also seen a huge improvement in dry skin. It is recomended for a healthy heart so this must be a added bonus.

Recently I've developed a liking for nuts after a lifetime of loathing them. As a child I loved cracking them open for my Dad at Christmas but that's as far as it went. I found them dry & tasteless. Strange how one's taste changes with age. I'm off to buy more walnuts.....ever hopeful grin

Love walnuts but they are expensive so I decorate the coffee cake with them but don’t include them.

Don't you nut eaters think the quality of nuts is variable, whether you buy from Waitrose or Lidl? Some brazils and hazelnuts taste bitter and dry to me. I reckon most nuts are not very fresh, or have been incorrectly stored.

We eat walnuts, Brazil’s, cashews (unsalted) we buy them in Lidl’s. Have a handful everyday and some fruit too.

Walnut butter in soups, on fruit with yogurt, and of course on bread. Lovely. Expensive but so are the nuts

Well after reading this thread I just bought a tub of walnuts. They're crunchier than I thought they'd be somehow or maybe they're just fresh. Whatever. I've just eaten 4. No sign of improvement yet. Impatient? Moi?!

Chopped or whole walnuts from Aldi are not too expensive and do well in coffee and walnut cake. I like them in cake - also have a recipe for brown bread and scones which includes them, but never noticed any particular health benefits.

I'm allergic to nuts so I'll give this one a miss lol
