I am on blowing out candle duty, GC are soundo, as are AC and Mr GG13 so I am now preparing house for Christmas morning, as much as I love io, I now feel my age and struggle between feeling grateful that I have my family here and just wanting to vegetate in my pj’s with a bottle of fizz.

Happy Christmas to all. I haven’t posted recently because I don’t want to spoil the Christmas spirit. A quick update for those of you who are kind enough to support me. My DiL has picked up a little probably for the excited children’s sake. Still not able to eat much. I’m up early to bring an enormous turkey to room temperature and I’m girding my loins for a busy emotional day. Merry Christmas one and all.

A Happy Christmas to all- Tara did not realise I wanted a lie in so we were up early. My Christmas dinner started yesterday evening and it was lovely - I am looking forward to a repeat performance this evening. For me it is another cold day but the house is warm that is all that matters. I am fortunate I do not have the worries of some GNs, my love to you.

A very happy Christmas to all my kitchen friends and helpmates. N&G I am on my way with a piece of string to tie to the door handle! {{hugs}}. Doodle and Maw I love that benediction; both the verbal and the musical version. It instills an immediate sense of calm and wellbeing. Happy Christmas all. We are being waited on fantastically well and being thoroughly spoilt. We have had lots of messages and videos from the children.

Then on our local thread saw that someone in our village had a house fire overnight and have no roof left on the house. Poor things.

And now a photo of Wolfie in his Christmas outfit. His aunt says the hat looks like a festive condom and I have offered to ring Childline. On the other hand, the outfit we bought him looks like a hit.
