I just wish these radicals wouldn’t try to ‘change’ the west. If they don’t like how we live then why don’t they just go back to eastern countries and find there the values that they like?

SB has given an interview to Sky News, in which she states that she was aware of the be heading, torture and all that ISIS stood for before she joined them.

She is not showing one iota of remorse, if and when she is repatriated surely long term jail is the only answer, preferably in solitary confinement so that she is unable to radicalise anyone else?

I wish that the media would stop giving SB "airtime" she is becoming a "one women advert" for Daesh!!

As previously mentioned, for those who don’t know, the Government does have a policy for feturning Jihadi supporters:

They are initially detained and go through a process of interviews/investigation to determine if they are still a threat. If they are considered dangerous, they are charged and imprisoned. So far only a small minority - 10% have been detained ( which may not be a bad thing as prisons are apparently a hotbed for Moslem conversions - strange given that presumably any Moslem in prison is a criminal).
If the returnee is not considered a threat they are given assistance to find work and council accomodation, so that they do not feel disenfranchised.
Some are ‘tracked’ . Maybe that is why we do not have enough policemen.

Sorry if it’s been answered before but would it be impossible for Syria to put these people on trial if the crimes were committed in Syria and then after their sentence deport them to their home countries.

I assume the poor Syrian people just wast them out and I get they.

I agree that Syria will not want foreign mercenaries who were fighting against the government (rightly or wrongly). Not sure how the rules of engagement work in this circumstance...it seems both sides have broken international agreements … e.g rape, gas, etc. Neither 'side' comes out of this conflict well.
So sorry for ordinary people who were just living their lives in what was a pretty sophisticated place having it all messed up and their lives shattered. The Syrian refugees, who had no part in the conflict, are still given a hard time in the host countries they have sought refuge in. sad.

She would have been only 15 and that would have been illegal in the UK.

I also read that her husband is Dutch and she does not know his whereabouts.

Another blundering, bullying , aggressive, confrontational and unhelpful intervention from Trump. I'm sure senior military and diplomatic staff from the Uk and other European countries are already in discussion with each other and the US about the best / least worst way of dealing with the Isis fighters captured in Syria.
It isn't the Trump way though is it, to negotiate and reach consensus. He is, as he promised, behaving as Potus as he did when working on deals, his way or the highway.

I haven't read anywhere any suggestion that some kind of international war trials, like after WW2 and the Bosnian war for example, is being proposed. I'd like to see some kind of international response of that kind before any of the Isil fighters are let loose on Europe. Another Trump threat.

It seems turkey is likely to invade and attack the Kurdish regions along the Turkish border, again. As if the Kurds haven't been through enough.

I absolutely cannot stand Trump but but boy he does have a point that Europe goes need to get its act together to deal with this problem.

I would certainly favour international war crime trials for isis fighters and their wives.
