What do people think about the young woman who ran away to join ISIS and now wants to return here to have her baby in safety?
I don't know what to think. I'm sorry her last babies died but I'm horrified to hear her dismiss unbelievers' heads in bins as 'enemies of Islam'. Any thoughts?

I am asking if this is the father of the girl being discussed on this thread - I am unsure and this suggestion has been made several times in the media.
No, I do not think that he is the father of Shamima Begum, Rosina
He is, I believe, and someone may correct me on this, the father of one of the other girls who went out to Syria with Shamima, Amira Abase. The third girl, Kadiza Sultana, has reportedly been killed there.

How awful for your family. My own dd went through a major trauma involving a death and serious injuries, including her, aged 12. Now at 19 she still has some psychological issues.

I hope your family get any help they need xx

Pmd Rosina. I hate the fact posters get scared off threads! angry some posters are lonely and just looking to exchange and debate.

Could be the difference between having company and making friends or not for some who knows.

Rosina Tue 19-Feb-19 13:47:17

Jalima yes, I am, and many thanks to all who posted so encouragingly. I had no intention of leaving GN which I enjoy greatly, simply disengaging from a negative area.
I have appreciated the many messages sent both on GN and privately.xx

If we are all about accuracy I have read on this thread that " they are given council housing " " 300 of them have been housed by the council"
When I asked for a link somebody has read it in the Daily Mail.

I have just heard an interview with Shamima where she clearly said she celebrated when the Manchester terrorist attack killed many UK citizens. We should make new legislation to keep her out. Nothing against her baby but named after an ISIS warlord. That baby will have no chance in life with Shamima bringing it up as an ISIS supporter.

Mycat, my step-GD is a nurse and much as she'd have helped the suffering that night, she was scared that the shooter was still around and she also had her teen daughter with her so they just hung on to each other as they flew around Manchester looking for the car.

It did affect them both but to my knowledge they didn't seek help. I'll be seeing my step-daughter tomorrow so I can then find out how the family are doing to date.

It's when evil acts such as Manchester and all the other atrocities have happened and you find out that the family have been in the midst of them that you develop an unnatural hatred for these people and ask yourself what the Hell are they doing in this country . They've changed people's lives forever and if this girl is allowed back my faith in British justice will be no more------and I won't be on my own with those thoughts.

Thankyou for your concern Mycat. xx

Mycatisahacker Tue 19-Feb-19 14:03:03

We should have been far more proactive really introducing new laws to deal with these returning jihads hut Brexit has swallowed everything

Mycatisahacker Tue 19-Feb-19 14:04:01

I hear you Ellanvanin

newnanny Tue 19-Feb-19 14:04:36

I thought it meant read the full thread too.

EllanVannin Tue 19-Feb-19 14:04:45

Keep that baby out of this country too !!

Charleygirl5 Tue 19-Feb-19 14:07:57

I understand that legally we have to accept this girl if she returns to Britain with her baby. I do not think we should be going out of our way as a country to bring her home. She can make her own way home at her or her family's expense. She managed to get herself there at a much younger age. It should not be this country's responsibility to bring her or anybody else in similar circumstances home.

DIL17 Tue 19-Feb-19 14:13:56

Even if she does come back now, there is the issue of the threat she poses but also, there will be people out there who want to hurt her.

Mycatisahacker Tue 19-Feb-19 14:38:47

To call her baby after a jihad war lord just tells us all really. She may be coming home but her heart is in the caliphate. Dangerous

Gonegirl Tue 19-Feb-19 14:49:49

Can't believe you said that Ellanvannin.

Riverwalk Tue 19-Feb-19 14:50:56

Keep that baby out of this country too !!

That's about the meanest thing I've ever read on Gransnet.

Is guilt inherited?

Oldwoman70 Tue 19-Feb-19 14:56:03

Sorry EV I don't agree with you there. The baby is innocent. Would you rather it remain with her and possibly end up being trained as a child suicide bomber or be brain washed to grow up to become a terrorist.

Anja Tue 19-Feb-19 15:04:00

Surely you don’t really mean that EV?

EllanVannin Tue 19-Feb-19 15:04:47

Well I did, Conegirl-----tuff !

EllanVannin Tue 19-Feb-19 15:06:36

You're all forgetting that its mother " was once an innocent baby/child. It didn't take that many years did it ??

Anja Tue 19-Feb-19 15:06:57

This is an innocent baby boy. He is a few days old.

Anja Tue 19-Feb-19 15:07:35
