I wonder how many people who are posting actually watched the documentary at all? Charges were brought against him when Jordan Chandler's family complained to the police in 1993, but it was "settled out of court" by a $23m payoff. When he was accused again, and it went to trial in 2005, it's clear in the documentary that one of the men was pressured by his family to give evidence on MJ's behalf - he still hadn't told them at that point and had no intention of doing so, and the other one refused when MJ rang him to ask for help - he says that MJ got very angry and threatened him with his powerful lawyers. Previous victims may have been silenced with payoffs (including the signing of non-disclosure agreements). MJ's staff all had to sign iron-clad NDAs - 5 of them were prosecuted for breaking them and fined $1.5m (enough to make sure that none of the others dared to). A jury can only make up its mind on what is put before it, and in another country it would probably have ended up as "not proven" rather than not guilty.
