I remember many happy hours making houses and dens from blankets and chairs.
My own children had a playhouse which was made from pushed together plastic lengths with a canvas printed 'house' which slipped over the framework.
Firstly, they would get inside it and roll it over and over round the garden with them inside shrieking. Then, when they had had enough of that, they would dismantle the frame and play sword fights with the sticks.
I don't suppose the manufacturers had contemplated the way in which children would hijack their design.
