Morning everyone! Reckon Mick is not around just yet so thought I would open up.

Lovely sunny morning here on the south coast and more gardening looms for us.

Enjoy the day all!

Beautiful start to the week, good morning everyone from the south coast, enjoy your days

Good morning
The sunshine in Kent for the second day in a row, it feels like Spring now.
I need to blitz the kitchen today but before that DH will be cooking breckie and making more mess.
Have a good day.

Annapops Mon 25-Mar-19 08:15:11

Good morning all. Kiddie care duties for us today and we're going to Beamish. It should be interesting as we haven't visited for a while.
What an awful dream last night. Thought I was back at work without having prepared anything whatsoever for my class. Pleased to wake up to reality.
I hope appointments, meetings, gatherings go well for those who have them and that GN keeps company anyone who finds themselves on their own today.
Wishing you well gillybob as I have been reading about how you and DH are working so hard to keep your business afloat. I do hope you got your rent reduced.
Wishing you all a good day.

Marydoll Mon 25-Mar-19 08:15:47

Susan, I hope all goes well today.
I found it very upsetting when I went to retrieve my possessions after being hit by a lorry, which had jumped a red light.
I began to think about what could have happened and how lucky I was to have escaped with minor injuries, despite the extensive damage.
Once you get through today, that will be another stage in your husband's recovery. flowers

Good morning All x
A beautiful sunny start to the day here on the banks of the Mersey some more jumper washing methinks.

Enjoyed my afternoon lunch yesterday with D on one of her rare afternoons off. Have a letter to finish off shortly, used to love letter-writing but not so much now.

Some polishing to do as I can only see the dust when the sun shines-------I don't know where it comes from. I'm actually in limbo with waiting for a job to be done so it's a decision that's keeping me hanging on and I feel that I can't get for going at the moment as regards any thorough cleaning. A nuisance.

Enjoy this lovely weather everyone if it's where you are.

BlueSapphire Mon 25-Mar-19 08:27:11

Oh, Annapops, I still have those dreams 18 years after retiring! Standing in front of a class with nothing prepared, the ultimate nightmare. It's good though to wake up and find its all a dream!

Good morning, Gaga and thank you for starting us off. Gosh I am late today. The sun is shining in South Yorkshire. I have a pile of ironing to tackle, but hope to get a bit of gardening done before we go off for the school run. Tomorrow will be gardening day proper. Have a good day folks.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Mon 25-Mar-19 09:01:49

Morning all from a bright South Notts. Will nip into town later for a new radiator valve - not very exciting I'm afraid. Hope all is well. How annoying Harrigan, hope you manage to clean up the mess. Best of luck for his hospital appointment.

Auntieflo Mon 25-Mar-19 09:04:04

Morning Gaga, Annie and Michael if he has access to GN.
Busy day yesterday with hospital visit for DH's CT scan. We went by bus, and walked up to the hospital, on the way passing a garden with two lovely cast iron and wooden garden chairs, left out for collection possibly. Oh how I wish we had been in the car!
Had a lovely lunch out, looked for some new cushions, no luck. Why do the nicest ones need dry cleaning?
Made inroads on my knitting while DH being seen to, and sunshine all day.
Feel like I should do some gardening today, it is beautiful here in Berks.
have a good day one and all.

Good morning from a sunny day Glasgow.

I would love to be having my coffee outside Gilly a perfect way to start the day but, as Marydoll has said, it’s a bit too chilly yet.

DD1 and both DGDs stayed with us last night. All is peaceful now but the chaos of having breakfast on a school morning has left me exhausted .....and breathe?

Good luck with the changeover kitty?

Hope all goes smoothly for you today Susan

Off now to tidy up and put things back in order?

oldgaijin Mon 25-Mar-19 09:20:54

Good morning all from a bright but slightly damp and chilly Aberdeenshire. The pheasants etc are shouting for their breakfast so had better go and fill the feeders.
The mutt and I are off to the woods again and then it's a quick visit to the vet to have a tick removed. Normally I would do it myself but it is on his eye and he is such a wimp getting things done that he would probably take my hand off.
Must clean out the old car before it's collected tomorrow so hope it stays dry.
Have a Happy day all.

Enjoy your day. ?

Good morning from Stockport where I am still in bed after a very bad night.
It was mention of the blue and yellow store which prompted me to post.
My friend happened to comment in a conversation with her S and DiL that she had never been.
A look passed between them and now she is convinced that that is to be her Mothering Sunday treat.
The thing is , she has no desire to go, but can't say anything
She has been told to be ready to go out at a certain time in the morning.

NanKate Mon 25-Mar-19 09:57:49

Can I have a hint please of the name of this blue and yellow shop, I haven’t a clue ?

Auntieflo Mon 25-Mar-19 10:11:36

IKEA. NanKate
I have also never been!

Good morning. Sunny in east London but chill breeze when I went to the doctor's this morning. The pain in my thumbs is osteoarthritis so I'm going to the specialist clinic next week to see how it can be managed. DP didn't fall for my comment that I'm not to wash up, Hoover, make cakes etc especially as I'm playing tennis at lunch time.

Good morning Mick!
Thank you Kalu and Mary, yes the what ifs are what are causing me to have sleepless nights at the moment. It was much more upsetting than I thought collecting our posessions and seeing the smashed car again.I have found a new car with the help of the lovely people at the garage we have bought the last few cars from.Just waiting to hear from the insurance now.
