I can hear my husband watching it, I’m in another room with my book

I haven't watched it yet, but is recorded. Normally I envy them all and wish I was there. But with that heat, and limited water, not to mention the loos, I am glad to watch from the comfort of my cool home.

We're watching The Killers as well.

Wish they wouldn't refer to it as "Glastonberry"!

Looking forward to The Cure tomorrow night. Not a great fan of The Killers but they put on a great show tonight.

I love Glastonbury--Son there at the moment--sooo hot.

I watched the killers, did some dancing like no-one was watching.

Wd have watched a few things on the red button. I love George Ezra but was slightly disappointed in his set.

DH is hoping to see Sons of Kemmet and Kamasi Washington.

Love festivals but Glasto has never been the sort of music I've been into. They do seem to be getting better though. Too far from me to travel to sadly!

Thought The Killers were amazing. What a showman. He sang for such a long time and his voice didn't fail him once. Interesting choice of guests - Pet Shop Boys and Johnny Marr. Everyone else seemed lacklustre by comparison. Thought Gallagher was boring with his sulky image and songs which all sound the same.

I've just remembered Lewis Capaldi was on yesterday. I love him.

I watched a lot of it yesterday, and loved it. It made me realise how out of touch I am with modern music and what I have been missing out on. There is so much young talent out there, and I have been stuck in a musical time warp and just listening to what I am used to. Wish I had gone there when I was younger, and had the stamina! I should imagine the atmosphere is fantastic.

Went once in the very early years, one of the girls had a little car, we drove to Pilton, parked in a farm gate, walked across a field, and we were in, I don’t know if it was free, but we definitely didn’t pay

Coldplay was by far the best act in 2016 ? Their appearance was brilliant and they'd put on an excellent show.
Not keen on the Killers I'm more a heavy metal fan, but that seems to have played out now amongst the youngsters. One year there were about half a dozen of the said bands.

I wonder how Kylie will get on ?

Watched some of the killers, watched Ann Marie (we know her Auntie), looking forward to Kylie as she was the first concert I took my daughter to.

Didn’t like Stormsy.

I too am struck by how talented the current set of musicians are. I enjoy it when my GD of 15 puts her music from her phone onto our car radio.( Not sure how that works) We seem to have similar taste!! Long live British music.

I wish I had the stamina for Glastonbury, it looks like a wonderful atmosphere.

I'm glad I'm not the only one still loves all the old bands. My ex husband and I would play music all the time when our girls were growing up. 'Sunday afternoon music' my daughter used to call it.
I would love to have gone to Glastonbury when I was younger, don't think I could stand the pace now.

Are we the only ones who are finding some of the sound quality decidedly poor? Flicking across the Glasto channels and red button we could barely hear Janet Jackson or Neneh Cherry.

Woodstock and Jimi Hendrix is what I remember. He was to have headed Glastonbury the same year that he sadly died ( I think ) My cousin was his tour manager before his untimely death.

I’m very much not into Glastonbury, and feel resentful about the amount of time given to it on TV. The major classical festivals (and there are plenty) are rarely covered at all. Only the Proms (a BBC festival) get any publicity. and even then it’s usually the more dumbed-down ones.

This used not to be the case. I feel culture in this country is sliding downhill, like America.

I also love the Last night of the Proms and have the radio blasting in conjunction with the TV.

I’m an ageing rock chick. Saw the Killers, live, in Cardiff - absolutely brilliant! Haven’t done Glastonbury since 2001 but went to Latitude three or four times. Shall definitely go the latter again!
