eh up Mick how's you?
Good Afternoon from the Lake Districweather up here is very cold, a couple of new things arrived today for me to test/review (a soup maker and another cordless vacuum cleaner) The vacuum cleaner is a toy one they usually send the real thing but as they know is old enough now they sent me some toys from Casdon to check out I'll let you know whats value for money and whats not.

Hi gustheguidedog what you’ve got going there sounds interesting! Yes please, do clue us in to the results of your ‘roadtests’! Casdon toys, like ‘Galt’ have a good reputation over the years.

Certain brand names spell confidence don’t they? Over the years, ‘Ladybird’ children’s clothes for the example. Fantastic quality - sold in ‘Woolworths’ in the early 80’s - bought for our very young daughters.

‘Prestige’ kitchen range in the mid 70’s, something I aspired to buying as a newly wed. I used to drool over their catalogue thinking ‘someday’. ... Ditto ‘Schrieber’ bedroom furniture. ‘Ercol’ dining table & chairs. ‘Viners’ cutlery.

Sorry, meadandering down memory lane here! It’s good enough for another thread.
