Sussexborn - yes there were several stupid rumours going round on social media but even the NHS does NOT suggest the use of ibuprofen for treating the symptoms of coronavirus.
They have (apparently) removed it from the web page because whilst there is not yet "concrete" evidence that it makes the situation worse it has been found to suppress the immune system and counter-indications are building.
If you go on Google Scholar you can find lots if papers mentioning or covering that aspect for sure - but obviously, as this is new to us, it's found within other studies.
