Nannyjan I'd love to see your recipe for malt loaf if you would post it - I think as many egg free recipes as possible would be useful as they are quite hard to get hold of (at least here).
Very stupid and irresponsible of those party goers on Saturday! I wonder if they are in some kind of bubble of self denial, believing they will be perfectly safe and that the whole thing is hyped up? We know it isn't, of course, but some people...?

Good morning all,Dragon fly good luck with appointments. We are in the same boat re separate bedrooms (first time in 60 years?) but can’t do the bathroom and eating bit, my husband gradually feeling slightly better after his hospital isolation last week, now two weddings for this year on hold although one is transferred to next year PG,Only hope we can still make them .

Good morning from a chilly but bright Oxfordshire, clouds forming though so I’m not sure what the day will bring.
We are in week 3 of staying indoors, not too bad at the moment and DH is feeling better which is a plus, let’s hope he doesn’t start to get too bored.

It was the bit where he said something on the lines of “they got three out but I swallowed one, which could’ve been very dangerous, except I managed to cough it up” That has us in tears ! what a sick sense of honour we must have !

Good morning all from a dull mid-Notts. It was slightly drizzling when I just let his Lordship, the cat, back in. He's now sitting regally on my lap before he goes off to his box or cushion to snooze the rest of the day away!! I need to have a look through my knitting magazines/patterns to see what I am going to make next from my wool stash. Hope Monday is kind to us all -;stay safe everyone x

Need to take care of some banking today but some of it will probably need to be done in branch so not sure . It seems sort of odd that it hasn't been said that actual banking isn't one of the 4 permitted outdoor activities but yet bank branches have been declared as one of the key services still allowed to operate but " hey ho" I guess.

Good morning everyone. Just popping in briefly - I overslept massively (9.30!). Without using an alarm, I'm going to see how long it takes for my body clock to change to BST, or even whether it will!. Haven't read the thread yet but I will later. Meantime, lots of love and ???

Utter gloom this morning since my wonderful help has decided she won’t be coming until restrictions ease. Not quite sure how we will cope but domestic standards will definitely be lower. Feel like screaming but it’s too cold to go outside and do so.

Small beer compared with so many posters on this thread but has definitely depressed me. Tomorrow will be better.

Good morning from a dull East Midlands.

I’m determined that this gloom will not get me today so I have cleaned the bathroom, hung out the washing and going to make a banana loaf after a hot chocolate. It’s a bit cold outside but I’ll venture out and walk around the block.

Still making the patchwork cushion covers and knitting my jumper (not at the same time) during the day. Last night we watched The Full Monty again - I think I might have watched it several times.

Good morning everyone from a sunny but cold Warminster.
We went for a walk around the block yesterday and will do for the foreseeable future. Otherwise indoors doing a course from Lily Future Learn on line the subject being The Corona Virus. I am into week 2 now and it is very informative and interesting.
Sark, I hope that your relative who is a paramedic is comfortable and will recover.
I feel cross that all front line staff have only just been able to obtain protective gear. What ever are we thinking!

I haven’t bothered with any structure to my day, quite happy to just plod on doing various things if and when I feel like it. Always plenty to keep me busy inside and out. If I feel like reading my book for a couple of hours, it’s guilty pleasure before I wash the kitchen floor. No more, oh I must get such and such done.?‍♀️

A bit late to this party so it's Good Afternoon not good morning, but a beautiful sunny day in Angus so the washing is out and an hour done in the garden with my new ratchet type secateurs. Cannot recommend them enough to anyone like me who has hand weakness. Heading back out after lunch to lift and divide my snowdrops while I can still see where my existing clumps are. I know I'm so lucky to have the garden to get into tho I do go out for a walk too. Stay safe everyone.

Still out of sorts to remind me I’m not at work! Have done some washing and ironing going to strip walls in main bedroom been meaning to do it do it for sometime. Get some jobs done that I would of had to do at weekend. Stay safe evryone and keep talking.
