Haha, these have made me laugh, and reassured me that I’m completely normal. I haven’t done any tidying of any rooms, or baked anything at all, or done any gardening or cooking. Mr M is so good at all these things, why would I upset him by doing an inferior job.

Thank goodness for other CBA-ers - all the reports of people doing non-stop Useful Jobs (in between their Joe Wicks workouts and 10 mile runs) were making me feel more than usually inadequate! (Or perhaps bone idle would be more accurate)

We love "House of Games" too, Gulligranny. It's repeats at the moment but just as good second time round.

Sorted out the cupboards in the kitchen as everything was shoved in anywhere when we moved here in November! Now just unpacked the last few boxes in the guest room / office. Only been 5 months

I just feel so flat, I want to be able to go out again, then I am sure I will feel heaps better.

Oh thank goodness for all these lovely posts. I too thought I was the only completely lazy person on the planet. When my lockdown started I was productive for a week but over the last 3 have spent all my time sofa surfing and GNing. How lovely others are the same.

I think its because lockdown has no end date. There's always tomorrow to get it done. At the beginning I pulled out lots of old family memorabilia and photos and began sorting them in the spare bedroom. If the grandchildren were here I'd have put them away to avoid damage, but as they are coming to no harm I've just left it. Husband made a comment today so it's time to tidy up!

I am loving doing not much at all, and for the first time in years I am sleeping like a baby - so it must be doing some good. As for the beauty routines, sorting etc well maybe I’ll get around to it one day but probably not until I really have to and the. i won’t have the time.

How on earth did i manage to work full time and keep a pristine home which ran like clockwork? I blamed retirement ?. Now i blame lockdown
Maybe once visitors are allowed again that will be the impetus to get straight again.....

I have three spare bedrooms full of clothes that need sorting out but you can’t rush these things there is an awful lot of planning to do the devil is in the detail and anyway everywhere is closed so I can’t get rid of any of it. So I will continue with my action plan until it is honed to perfection.

I did try the three ingredient scone recipe and now I have to eat them

I did empty the larder & throw out all the out of date items ( 2 black sacks!!). Since then I have sat in the sun with a good book every afternoon & am a very nice brown colour- probably better than when I got back from Greece last year & all for free!
I have had the baking bug so we are fine for cakes & biscuits for a few months & DH has actually cooked dinner twice so far- very good it was too. I know it won't last & by the state of the kitchen afterwards I am happy with that!!
I will be happy to see him back off to work TBH as there is a limit to how much time you should spend with someone you love before the cracks start showing & I need some female chat!

Oh what a cheering thread! I have been doing a little desultory gardening and stopping as soon as I come over careless (which doesn't take long) and then spending the rest of the day doing not very much. There are old bank statements - and I'm not prepared to say how old - which finally need to be shredded, and a pile of other paperwork to be filed or shredded. Also lots of photos to file and goodness knows what else. I've kept up with the clothes washing, as I enjoy that, but the windows haven't been washed for ages and the kitchen floor is overdue and...

In the meantime I have some comfort reading to do and Easter eggs to finish.

It's lethargy isn't it. Brought on by boredom . I've got it badly.
I'm trying to make myself do one extra task each day.
Yesterday it was planting dahlia corms. Today, if I can find the energy, I will fill a watering can and water the pots.

No Henetha its not lethargy its relaxation brought on by the need to just chill out and let it all wash over you. I do not even watch the daily briefings that they put out. In a minute I will go for a cycle ride, sneak a coffee and a bit of lunch at a takeaway place. Come back eat it in the garden as though I am on holiday and then back to finishing doing nothing. Bliss

I can get out there and dig and weed in our large garden but have I cleaned the house apart from 2 rooms, sorted and cleared out all the junk, got up to date with my paperwork, written my memoirs, done my knitting? Have I heck as like!!
Oh in mitigation apart from gardening I have made lots of soups including nettle soup.
