Good Morning Everyone,
Its a clear blue sky over Brackley this morning, today apart from being 72 .
Not expecting any post because they will not deliver today.
Maybe start to prepare my Sunday/Monday meal in slow cooker later.
But also have a Chinese Take Away later on.
Take Care ,
Mick

Good Morning from a bright and sunny East London . A very Happy Birthday Mick! ??. Enjoy that Chinese takeaway this eve. Weather report looks good so hope to spend time repotting seeds . A good walk too maybe . I started out yesterday but abandoned it almost immediately when the rain came down in sheets suddenly. I think I will queue at our corner shop to buy a weekend paper too as missed it last week.
DD and family called round yesterday for a front gate visit .I had made a cake for them to hand over with “social distancing” to take home ! The DGC quickly said hello and then scooted up and down the path whilst we chatted for ten minutes . Nice to see them . Hope DS and family may include a visit to me on their bike ride over the weekend .

Urmston, I'm so happy thatt you can get out today, even if it is only to the Police Station! grin

Good morning from the NE coast where we have a bright start to Saturday.

Happy Birthday Mick Do enjoy your Chinese Takeaway smile

Spent most of yesterday trying in vain to contact a certain large CC company . Made over 30 phone calls and sent more emails than I can remember all with no reply. In fact their telephone lines seem to be cut off and have a message saying “we are in the middle of an emergency call back later” all this despite their TV adverts assuring their customers that “they are here to help” don’t make me laugh .

Hope you enjoy your first day of release Urms I’m sure it will be amazing . Wishing you a wonderful day .

Hope Dexter is on the mend now Dragonfly smile

Thinking of everyone feeling anxious, poorly or upset . We are living in extremely challenging times .

Will catch up later .

Love

Gillybob x

Good morning from a cool Morecambe Bay. Mix of blue sky and cloud this morning, though the forecast is no more rain for a while. Like most I’d like the rain between midnight and 6am.
Happy Birthday Mick. Enjoy your Chinese take away later.
DH out running so will walk later, maybe this evening and hope there is a sunset over the bay.
Had a FaceTime yesterday with DS3 and DGD aged 3 who was proudly wearing the shorts I’d made her and sent through the post. She was apparently chuffed to see her name on an envelope and wouldn’t take the shorts off even though they were too big. Now I’ve seen them on her I shall make her a couple of pairs that should fit better. I have a bit of Peter Rabbit material, so I’ll find a way to incorporate that into whatever material I use.
Thinking of all who are finding it hard at the moment, take care, stay safe.?

Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Warwickshire, blue sky and sunshine here this morning. Just having a quiet cup of tea then hopefully plumber will arrive to fix leak. ( it’s in outside utility room so we can socially distance). Planning to walk later as well, hoping the weather holds.

Have a lovely day everyone ??

Good morning askitty says it is sunny here so shall tidy up the grass and get the washing out.

Dexter seems much calmer this morning although his cone is stuck together with duct tape where he has broken it!

Ocado delivery today and managed to get a Waitrose slot in 3 weeks.
I received a second government food parcel yesterday, I tried to ring to tell them I didn’t need it but all calls are automated. I therefore donated the lot to a food bank who were very grateful.

Enjoy your walk urmston.
Sorry to hear you are still not well Mary hope you feel better later.
Pleased you are feeling better GG.
Happy Birthday Mick

Pretty disgusting service from Morrison’s Harri I don’t know why they bothered to be honest.

Good morning from the Highlands - reverting to form - grey skies and a bit chilly but luckily no rain. Nice to see Marydoll's birthday thread for Mick - she is always thinking of others. It would have been my Dad's birthday today. A quiet hard-working man taken to soon at 66 but my Mum passed away at 62 and he was never the same. I really need to give myself a shake and get going today. Off to re-read Urmstongran's post as that really brightened my day.

Morning All

A lovely, bright sunny morning here in the north of Norfolk.

An exciting day beckons with a friend calling round for tomato plants which means a distant five minutes door step chat, a local greengrocer delivery (plus flour!), AND a Tesco delivery!!

We’ll be exhausted with all this activity and human (at a distance) contact!

We had a second government food parcel too dragonfly, and nearly a third one but I managed to catch the delivery chap and he’s crossed us off his list.

Have a super walk outside Urmston
Hope you’re feeling better soon Mary
And I do hope someone, somewhere eventually gets back to you with some good news Gilly

Good morning everyone from a warm but cloudy S of France.
And to Mick...
———————————————
^Happy Birthday to you
And please don’t feel blue
Soon you’ll be on those buses
Stay Safe ‘til you do^ ?????

Urmston. Have the best walk ever today. (That’s some achievement and I always just speak from my ❤️)

So very pleased you’re feeling more normal GG - take it easy, though. Those awful ‘collars’ dragonfly - poor Dexter, but now let’s hope for some real progress and some calm for you.

Only 176 new cases of the vile ? here in France yesterday!. Numbers are really coming down, thanks to our incarceration. (Without my specs I just went to press the emoji for a peacock ?.... get a grip, woman, you don’t get to call peacocks ‘vile’)

Haven’t decided whether to take it easy today, or start painting a bathroom. Mmmmm? See how I feel when I’ve showered and dressed, maybe.

Everyone, especially feeling wobbly or feeling unwell.....it’s going to be ok. Let all our feelings out, have a rant then put on a smile and believe .......we can and we WILL do this.
Happy Saturday all. ???

Good Morning from a beautiful bright Fife, no wind just sun. A very Happy Birthday Mick I hope your day is filled with sunshine. Did not have a good night at all last night and feeling very lethargic and sore head today. Hope it passes. Urmstongran I hope you have wonderful day out, it will feel strange. No plans as yet for today will hit and see how I feel. DH will be back outside putting new guttering on summer house. Despite all our woes I hope everyone has a good day. Take care everyone and chin up. Enjoy your birthday Mick wine

Good morning from east London, sun is out and it’s a bit cool. Hope it’s not going to be as temperamental as yesterday.

Happy birthday Mick, enjoy your day.

Choir at 11 today, the one where we are learning the Chinese folk song; we’ve been asked to submit recordings of us singing our parts so they can pull them together. I am going to do it but my voice seems to have gone into shutdown; it sounds so much better when I’m in a crowd (big grin). I did have a bit of a blip yesterday morning but cleaning 30 large plant pots and drip trays sorted that out. I didn’t get many plants repotted as the rain kept coming over so that’s a job for today. Anticipating a walk today (it’ll be wellie conditions if the rain comes back). Hope everyone has a reasonable day.

Serendipity22 Sat 02-May-20 09:05:08

Serendipity22 Sat 02-May-20 09:08:51

Forgot to say, the sun is trying its level best to get through the clouds here in Yorkshire..... ohhhhh just as I've looked up, its suceeded, yeahhhh.... I'm instantly happier.

Enjoy your birthday Mick and get planning for big celebrations in month to come...... smile

GrannySomerset Sat 02-May-20 09:29:09

Happy birthday, Mick, and hope it is as good as possible in the circumstances. Currently sunny in North Somerset but ominous clouds building so may not get today’s job - preparing pots for plant delivery in a week or so - but there is always tomorrow. Or the next day. Or the one after that ......

With nothing to differentiate the days it is hard to remember quite where we are, but hope we all have the best day we can.

Kalu Sat 02-May-20 09:43:07

Good morning all from a sunny, breezy Glasgow. Another good washing day??

Happy Birthday Michael ????enjoy your meal tonight?.

Lovely to see you here this morning Bellasnana. Hope all is well with you.

I got a gift from DH yesterday, a hedge trimmer! I am delighted with it and had a quick try out last night? I will now be able to keep the shrubs tidy and taking the easy option this year, shaping the box topiaires. That’s my day taken care of?

Ooooh, today is the day Urmstongran. ? Woohoo. Don’t walk too fast, slowly does it enjoying your outing. You don’t want to rush it??

DH is telling me it isn’t chilly outside Marydoll. Well it wouldn’t be if you are wearing denims and a heavy shirt!
I may have to put my thermal vest on again?. Hope you feel a bit better as the day goes on?

Wishing everyone a good day, doing whatever it takes to keep your mind off these strange times, at least for a while.

gillgran Sat 02-May-20 09:44:49

Good Morning from a sunny N.,Cambs., Happy Birthday to Mick, hope you have a good as possible day. I was up early (for me, not too good in the mornings) today as we had an Ocado delivery at 8.15 am. That was all present & correct luckily.
